Now that Pink is a mother, is she still going to tour? I just picked up her new album.

Steve Headley, Berlin, Conn.

According to the pop/rock singer, motherhood—she has a 17-month-old daughter Willow with husband/motocross racer Carey Hart—has completely changed her. “I used to wake up and go, ‘Oh, I should check my pulse? I don’t feel good. What am I going to do today? I don’t know if I’m happy,’” she says. “And now I’m like, ‘Let’s start with a cuddle. What song are we singing?’ And it’s just a dance party.”

That said, the 33-year-old, Doylestown, Penn.-born, three-time Grammy Award winner, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, has no plans to slow down her musical career, and that includes touring on behalf of her new “The Truth About Love” album.

She already has performed the first single from the album, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” at the MTV Video Music Awards, on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and during a concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The solution to balancing music and motherhood, according to Pink, who plans an international tour, is to take Willow with her. “It’s about having her hear different languages, getting used to seeing different-colored people, different dress, different foods, being at sound check and getting musical.”
