What has happened to David Suchet, who starred on TV in Poirot? What other movies has he appeared in?
—Ed Rebholz, The Villages, Fla.
The British actor, 65, has been portraying Agatha Christie’s Belgian sleuth since 1989. He had hoped to complete the last six Poirot stories by the end of this year, but financing woes at the United Kingdom’s ITV network have put those plans in limbo. Between TV and films, he has worked on the stage in London and New York, where he was nominated for a Tony Award for Amadeus. His many TV and film credits include Freud, The Little Drummer Girl, Iron Eagle, Harry and the Hendersons, Henry VIII and Dracula.
