Prohibition
DVD $39.99 / Blu-ray $44.99

Director Ken Burns turns his keen documentary lens onto the U.S. Constitution's notorious 18th Amendment, which banned the manufacture, sale and transportation of alcohol in the 1920s and early '30s-and resulted in a vicious criminal underworld, a tidal wave of illegal booze and a teetering, hypocritical tilt of the nation's moral axis. Released to coincide with the film's three-part airing on PBS, both the DVD and Blu-ray include 90 minutes of bonus scenes and featurettes.
