The 28thAnnual Quilt Show hosted by the Creek County Oklahoma Home & Community Education Association of Creek County is scheduled for Friday, November 4thand Saturday, November 5th, 2011, on Historic Route 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville Oklahoma.
Stringed music, classic tea room, door prizes and Oklahoma quilting vendors are a few of the attractions.
Last year’s entries totaled over 100 in traditional bed size quilts ALONE! Add quilted throws, vintage & antique heritage entries, baby quilts, clothing items, accessories, wall hangings, quilt blocks, and our junior divisions and you can view over 300 entries. They’ve had to expand into the hallways!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN CREEK COUNTY in order to enter the OHCE Creek County Quilt Show. There is NO item entry fee. Enter your quilts, your friend’s quilts or your great-great-grandmother’s quilts! Be a part of the action. Adult top winners receive cash prizes. Youth top winners receive sewing implements.

Judging: Thursday, November 3rd 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (building closed)
Exhibit Viewing: Friday, November 4th 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Exhibit Pick Up: Saturday, November 5th 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
This year’s 85 inch x 102 inch “Flowers & Butterflies” raffle quilt is hand quilted by one of Kellyville’s local artisans.
Door admission Friday & Saturday: $3.00 Adults, children free. All proceeds go toward two college scholarships given each year by OHCE, Creek County.
