Q: What can you tell me about Rachael Taylor of the now-canceled Charlie's Angels? Where might we see her next?
—David Logan, Providence, R.I.
Taylor, 27, grew up in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia, where she worked as a model for Skye-Jilly International, performed in school plays and was crowned Miss Teen Tasmania 1998. She was introduced to American audiences in the 2007 film Transformers and followed up in 2008's Shutter and Bottle Shock.
Taylor made her U.S. TV debut in a recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy before landing the part of Abby Sampson on Charlie's Angels. She is currently the face of the popular Australian clothing brand, Bonds.
Coming up for the 5-foot-81/2-inch beauty is a role in the new alien-invasion film, The Darkest Hour. "They let me play her Australian," she says of her character. "I always would prefer to use my own accent if I could, but I have to say, I am proud of the work I have done on my American accent."
