What can you tell me about the actress who played Miss Blankenship, Don Draper's secretary, on Mad Men?
—Cindy Forrest, New Rochelle, N.Y.

Randee Heller, 64, is probably best known as Ralph Macchio's character's mom in two The Karate Kid movies. She quit show biz for eight years to teach adults English as a second language, and then along came Mad Men. "It was a gift from the heavens," says the Brooklyn native. "They really took a chance on me. They aged me up with a two-hour make up job." Heller has a recurring role as Dora Alpert in TV's In Plain Sight and has been a guest on 50 other shows. She made her acting debut off Broadway in the original production of Godspell in the early 1970s and also played Rizzo in Grease on Broadway.
