Club member Rob Card of Stratford, Connecticut, recently installed an under-cabinet kitchen radio that required four holes countersunk on the inside of the cabinet. Unfortunately, the cabinet shelves were fixed-position, which made it impossible to position his drill correctly inside the cabinet. After several futile attempts at spinning the countersink by hand, the lightbulb went on! Rob loosened the setscrew on the countersink and flipped it over on the shaft. He retightened the countersink, slipped the shaft through the hole, chucked the drill on from below and countersunk the holes with ease. The drill must be in REVERSE so that the bit spins clockwise.
