I hear that Rosie O'Donnell is coming back to TV with her own talk show. Is she taking over for Oprah Winfrey?
—Amber D'Amato, Brooklyn, N.Y.

While it is true that O'Donnell, 49, has moved to Chicago and is using the same studio that Winfrey, 57, used for her daytime talk show, The Rosie Show will not air in syndication, but rather on Winfrey's OWN cable channel, beginning Oct. 10.

O'Donnell, like Winfrey, will cover current events, newsmakers, celebrate kids and families and feature celebrities. The difference, as she sees it, is that Winfrey's show was aspirational, while O'Donnell feels it is her job to entertain and be funny.

"Nobody is really thinking that they want to aspire to be like me, but I'm very relatable. Everyone says to me, 'You're just like my sister-in-law,'" she says.
