Green Lantern is the second film in which Ryan Reynolds plays a comic-book character. The first was Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Is he a big fan of the genre?

"There's no rule that says you can't play two different characters in two different comic-book universes. There are so many interesting comic-book characters out there, I would love to do others," Reynolds, 34, says.
"Growing up, I read a bit of X-Men stuff. Beyond that I didn't know that much about comics." Twentieth Century Fox has begun development on Deadpool, an X-Men spinoff, in which Reynolds will star. "My dream would be to do a 100 percent faithful Deadpool adaptation, straight out of the comic book," the Vancouver, Canada-born actor says.
