Will Sigourney Weaver be back in the second Avatar movie?

Avatar 2 won't be in theaters until 2014, but producer-director James Cameron has announced that he is working on the script for not just Avatar 2, but also Avatar 3, so he can film them at the same time.
As for Weaver, 62, she says of her participation, "Don't worry, I will be back. As Jim [Cameron] says, no one ever dies in science fiction. He's told me the stories for the next two movies and they're absolutely wonderful. There's a real treat in store. Now we just have to make them."
Weaver often takes roles that originally were written for men. "Our world has changed, and women now are in fields that used to be male. I think a lot of writers still write films with too much testosterone. Then the smart people casting the film go, 'You know what would help this? If we made it a woman's part.' I like to play the part exactly as it is written for a man because I can bring my own womanliness to it."
