Was ‘Style Pop’s’ Louise Roe always so focused on fashion?

Roe, 31, was apparently born with fashion in her blood. “My mom tells me that she would try to dress me—I’m talking when I was 2 or 3—and I would say, ‘No mommy.’ I would put my own outfit together,” says the native of Surrey, England. She originally planned to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a journalist. But after graduating from Durham University with a degree in English literature, Roe, now the co-host of NBC’s weekly “Style Pop” talk show as well as the network’s “Fashion Star” competition series, did an internship at British ‘Elle’ magazine and decided she wanted to work in fashion, so she combined the two.
