What’s cooking these days with the Marshall Tucker Band?

Now in its 41st year, the Spartanburg, S.C.-based band continues to serve up their signature mix of jazz, blues and Southern-fried boogie. They recently released a vinyl 17-song edition of The Marshall Tucker Band: Greatest Hits, which includes “Heard It in a Love Song,” “Fire on the Mountain” and “Can’t You See.” Founding member and lead singer Doug Gray, 64, says the group’s fans these days are “anywhere from 18 to 65 years old, just coming to dig the music.”
