Long before it was a Broadway smash sweeping up 12 Tony Awards, it was an Oscar-winning 1968 movie comedy about a bottom-feeding theatrical producer (Zero Mostel), his assistant (Gene Wilder), and what happens when their plan to profit off a sure-to-flop show (“Springtime For Hitler”) spectacularly backfires. Now making its Blu-ray debut, this early masterpiece from director Mel Brooks comes with a making-of documentary, an interview with Brooks from 2012, and a scene deleted from the original theatrical release.
