“The Rolling Stones: Charlie is My Darling”
DVD ($99.99)

Filmed over a quick tour of Ireland just weeks after the Stones’ “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” hit No.1 and became an international generational anthem, this 1965 documentary has become legendary among fans of the band—partly because it was never officially released. Now, in commemoration of the group’s 50th anniversary, it’s been restored and replenished with new footage for a remarkable, candid look at a group of excited young British musicians on the verge of superstardom, performing early versions of songs that would eventually be rock classics, goofing off and cutting up, songwriting in hotel rooms, and working out the DNA of what would become their signature strains of blues, R&B and rock ’n’ roll. This deluxe package also includes a 42-page book, collectible artwork, two audio CDs and a 10” vinyl record.
