I was a great fan of The Waltons. Can you tell me what Michael Learned is doing now?

Learned, 71, has been performing on stage in Driving Miss Daisy and earlier this year appeared in the soap opera General Hospital. “It was an incredible experience. It transformed my life in many ways,” she says of The Waltons. While she has three sons of her own, she keeps in contact with her TV children. “We were all very close, and we still all stay in touch. We all care about each other. It’s like an extended family.”
