Since 2005, Gibson, 50, has played Aaron “Hotch” Hotchner on TV’s “Criminal Minds.” The actor attended the Juilliard School in New York on a scholarship, graduating in 1985, and then spent a few years on daytime TV before breaking into prime time in 1994 as Dr. Daniel Nyland on “Chicago Hope.” The native of Charleston, S.C., splits his time between Los Angeles and San Antonio, Texas, where he makes his home with wife Cristina and their three children.
