Tom Burlinson played in Man from Snowy River and Return to Snowy River. How old was he in each film?
—Phyllis M., Illinois

Toronto-born Burlinson, 49, spent time in New Jersey and England before his family settled in Australia when he was 10. He's lived there ever since and currently resides in Sydney with his wife, Mandy, and two young children, Mia and Guy. Although he's had a successful acting career, he's still best known for his lead role in the 1982 film The Man from Snowy River. He was 25 when he starred in the film and 31 when he filmed the sequel, Return to Snowy River. He went on to host the Australian television show Animal Hospital in the 1990s and currently plays the role of Leo Bloom in the Australian stage production of Mel Brooks' The Producers. Burlinson also is a great singer who sounds similar to Frank Sinatra. "I was asked to sing Sinatra's voice in the 1991 miniseries that his daughter, Tina, made for Warner Bros.," he says. "I sang the voice of Sinatra as a young man. After that I created a live concert show in tribute to Sinatra called Frank—A Life in Song. We toured all around Australia and took it to Toronto in 2002."
