I seen that Tom Cavanagh is starring in a new TV holiday movie, Debbie Macomber’s Trading Christmas. Does he have a favorite Christmas movie or memory?

Cavanagh, 48, does a great impression of actor James Stewart saying, "Merry Christmas, Bedford Falls." Thus, his favorite Christmas movie is the classic It's a Wonderful Life.
As for Christmas memories, when Cavanagh was a young boy, he lived in Winneba, Ghana, where his parents were teachers. The actor, who was born in Ottowa, Ontario, Canada, recalls, "I wondered if Santa knew where Winneba on the coast of Africa was. And so I had a lot of…I wouldn’t say tension, but I was worried. I distinctly remember being amazed that the dude could find Winneba. Magical."
Cavanagh's holiday movie, which airs at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 26 on Hallmark Channel, is based on Debbie Macomber's book, originally titled When Christmas Comes, about two people who swap houses for the holiday with surprising results. It also stars Faith Ford and Gil Bellows.
