The native Canadian, 39, has a leading role in the new ABC series “Killer Women” as Molly Parker, a homicide investigator for the Texas Rangers. Also, the former “Battlestar Galactica” cylon is the voice of The Grid on Disney XD’s “Tron: Uprising” and starred in Hallmark Channel’s “Finding Christmas.” When not in front of the camera, she supports several animal charities and rights organizations. Helfer, who has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada, lives in Los Angeles.
