British actor Stephen Moyer, 41, who was born in Brentwood, England, says he knew since age 11, when cast as Tom Sawyer in his first play, that he wanted to be an actor. A graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, he worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company before moving to film and TV. His previously best-known American TV role was in the 2007 miniseries The Starter Wife. Moyer married his True Blood co-star, Anna Paquin, 29, last August.
