Van Zants Get Right With the Man
Southern rock royalty Johnny and Donny Van Zant have gone country. Columbia Nashville has just released their new disc, Get Right With the Man. Collectively the brothers have sold more than 35 million records; Johnny with the legendary band Lynyrd Skynyrd and Donny with 38 Special. Get Right With the Man is both their first country release, and first duo effort with a major label. The first single from the disc, Help Somebody, debuted at No. 44 on the Billboard country chart. Demand generated by the single's radio play led Columbia to release Get Right With the Man a month ahead of schedule.
