Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo, 42, who returned to the daytime drama after a seven-year absence, changed her name prior to her marriage last July to Carmine Giovinazzo, 37, who plays Det. Danny Messer on CSI: NY. "It is an incredibly beautiful last name, so I decided to start using it early," she explains. The former Las Vegas star was married previously to actor Corey Feldman from 1989 to 1993, and she has a young son with former Beverly Hills, 90210 cast mate Brian Austin Green.
