Ellen Burstyn, 81, had a very busy year. The Academy Awarding-winning actress starred in a Broadway revival of “Picnic” and has several movies coming up, including “Draft Day, Scout,” “Interstellar,” “The Calling” and “Adaline,” as well playing Olivia, a strict grandmother, in the Lifetime movie “Flowers in the Attic.” “I like a variety of characters,” says the Detroit, Michigan, native. “I had never done a character like that before. It was hard, but it was fun.”
