What is Gregory Harrison doing these days?
—Henrietta Tauber, New Bern, N.C.
The former “Trapper John, M.D.” actor, 62, stars in the Hallmark Channel movie “After All These Years,” which debuts April 20. His role in the current indie film “The M Word” as a former extreme skier turned sportscaster hits home for Harrison, who surfs and kayaks in real life. In fact, it makes him recall the most “karmic” role he ever played, in the 1987 film “North Shore.” “I played the Zen god of surfing, who was a soul surfer/board designer,” the Santa Catalina Island, Calif., native says. “It has gotten me a lot of good waves around the world ever since.”
