Yes, but Melissa Joan Hart’s acting roots go even deeper than that. Before her 1991 Nickelodeon series “Clarissa Explains It All,” she made a single appearance (as an unnamed “roller skater”) in 1986 on “Another World.” But her official TV acting debut was in 1985 in an ABC Weekend Special—and at age 4 she made a TV commercial for a bathtub doll called Splashy. Since 2010, she been starring in and executive producing her series “Melissa & Joey.”
