What’s going on with musician Bruce Hornsby?

The Grammy-winning pianist and singer, 58, a native of Williamsburg, Virginia, is touring with Ricky Skaggs in support of their new live album, “Cluck Ol’ Hen,” which features bluegrass favorites as well as high-lonesome harmonies on Hornsby’s 1986 hit “The Way It Is.” “I’ve been fortunate to be a part of scores of collaborations through the years. [But] I consider the long-time association with Ricky to be the deepest and most satisfying of them all,” says Hornsby, who also made an album with Skaggs in 2007.
