Renee O’Connor, 42, who was born in Katy, Texas, starred in the TV movies “Monster Ark” and “Alien Apocalypse,” and in the theatrical films “Deadrise” and “Boogeyman 2.” She’ll appear in the upcoming “Beyond the Farthest Star.” The producer-director and mother of a 12-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter serves on the board of the San Pedro International Film Festival, where she will appear Oct. 4-6.
