Q There's a song ringing in my head, but I don't know who sang it. I think it's from the 1950s, and it goes, "Wondering, wondering who's kissing you / Wondering, wondering if you're wondering, too." Please help!
—Ludie Blackman, Lancaster, S.C.

That's the wonderful "Wondering," the 1951 breakthrough hit for country singer Webb Pierce. Written by Cajun singer Joe Warner in the '30s and originally recorded by The Riverside Ramblers, it's also been covered by Jim Ed Brown and The Browns, Ernest Tubb, Bobby Helms, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris and British rocker Elvis Costello.
