What is Yvonne Strahovski doing now that “Chuck” is over?

Since wrapping up the role of CIA agent Sarah Walker on “Chuck,” Strahovski, 30, has made the motion pictures “Killer Elite,” “The Guilt Trip” (set for release in December) and “I, Frankenstein” (set for release in 2013).
And this fall, she returns to TV in the seventh season of “Dexter,” playing Hannah McKay, a woman with a dark past, who meets Dexter when she helps the Miami Police Department try to solve a case. “They have all been extremely welcoming,” she says of her new castmates. “I love it. I go home every day and say, ‘I love my job.’ I don’t play a part in any law enforcement agency. I have a dark side. It is nice to turn it around completely.”
Strahovski was a fan of the series about a serial killer who works as a blood splatter expert for MPD before landing the role, but she had never seen all six seasons. So, dedicated actress that she is, she sat down and watched them all back-to-back over a three-week period before reporting to the set.
“One of the most enjoyable things about being an actress is you get to pretend to be so many different people in a lifetime,” says the Sydney, Australia-born actress. “That is the fun of it. So I feel lucky to have played such different roles in film and TV. This one is going to be one of the juicier ones yet.”
